Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer for an exciting role with a UK owned business looking for a competent engineer to aid the transition of new product development between engineering and manufacturing.
Must have:
• The Manufacturing Engineer will have a minimum 2yrs commercial
• HND or higher
• CAD
• Production, manufacturing experience
Experience in most of the following:
• CAD experience with ability to read drawings using both 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D CAD tools (SolidEdge / Solidworks preferred)
• Experience with an MRP system
• PDM (Data Management) for 2D Drawings, 3D CAD files, BOM's, ERP/MRP, Title Blocks, Change Notes, Audit History and other associated documentation from non-design personnel
• Educated to HNC/HND or higher
• Experience of working to strict regulations (ISO/IEC / BS / EC Directives / API for example)
• Worked closely with production, engineering and manufacturing teams
• Electro mechanical understanding and basic manufacturing assembly experience
• MS office, word, excel and solid administration skills
Client is going through a growth period where the demand for their products has expanded across Asia, Europe, South America. The Manufacturing Engineer will assist the teams with introducing new products into production, addressing all details of product before launch.
The key to this position is attitude to precision and organisation abilities.
Administration is a strong part of the role so the successful applicant must not only have a great eye for detail but enjoy crossing the T's and dotting the I's
