Junior Product Manager - Northampton or Oxford
Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP31,000

Part analyst, part creator and part conversationalist, this position presents an opportunity to exhibit just how versatile you are, with the benefit of developing your skills alongside a talented product development team. You'll be supporting the product manager from the analysis and research through to the building of recommendations and finally implementation.

You will be supported in your role however the main accountabilities will be to:

• Deliver on analytical or developmental steps of larger products to agreed specifications and deadlines including progress reporting
• Manage the end to end development lifecycle of smaller products including trials
• Provide cost-benefit analyses to produce recommendations for senior management
• Scope and define deliverables
• Conduct competitor and market research to identify gaps for our products
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What background do you need to succeed??

• Degree or experience in a product or energy role
• Excellent organisational skills
• Great communication skills both written and verbal with strong commercial acumen
• Experience of working on projects within a team, some experience leading on projects is desirable
• Experienced using MS office, in particular Excel. Knowledge of SQL is desirable, but training will be provided
• Knowledge of the energy industry is desirable
