Senior Interior Designer - Ennis more London

Looking to become a crucial part of our international, award-winning Interior Design team? Now is the time - we're looking for talented Senior Interior Designer to join us.

Creativity is the heartbeat that runs through everything we do to excite and inspire our guests. It's an amazing opportunity to shape the beautiful interiors of our hospitality spaces.
We're looking for someone to manage projects in the luxury sector, which currently includes overseeing the design and implementation of a members club and hotel in Edinburgh, part of Gleneagles. A huge project in the evolution and growth of the iconic brand.

If this sounds like your bag, we'd love to see concept imagery that sums your style (along with your CV). It can be anything from interior design to fashion & textile, graphic art to food & drink...whatever inspires you. We want to see your flair and creativity come to life!

What you'll do???

Manage the workflow of one or two significant projects, attending site meetings and DTMs throughout the construction process
Think proactively about the team and the design process, seek out new inspiration sources, challenge the norm and be at the forefront of hospitality design
Overseeing junior and middleweight designers when necessary
Review external consultants work, for compatibility into our design scheme
Deliver high quality design documentation from concept generation through tender to construction documentation
Work with the rest of the business, challenge decisions and think creatively about new Ennismore opportunities at the feasibility stage

You'll be an integral part of the Architecture, Design and Development teams, based at Ennismore Sessions House in London; you'll travel frequently, for short durations, to Europe and further afield when needed.

What we're looking for???

A meticulous designer with an eye for detail and an interest in high end hospitality projects
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
A passion for design, and an appreciation for history of design and a traditional aesthetic
Commercial awareness, an ability to deliver quality within the constraints of realistic budgets
Comfortable working in a client capacity, making sensible decisions for the good of the business
Someone highly organised with six to eight years' experience and able to juggle multiple projects effectively with a positive attitude
An excellent relationship builder, comfortable leading and motivating others and influencing with and without authority; a confident communicator who inspires trust

A natural mentor, you know how to create an environment that allows people to be themselves and gets the best out of them
