We are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge, wants to join a fast paced and high performing team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service.
The Mission
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Organising and planning stores area
Comprehensive lay out and organisation of where stocks are kept.
Receiving deliveries/Returns and ensuring they are correct, dealing with mismatching's adequately
Good knowledge of MSOffice specially MS Excel
Maintain professionally stock controlling database system, complying with the Company's needs
Ensure that the stocks are received, dispatched, recorded and managed accurately in the database
Produce Daily/monthly & random inventory stock counting / checks and Investigate all discrepancies found in stock
Ensure that appropriate reports of stock controls, discrepancies, and transactions as requested Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
Provide control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and prevent thefts at all the times
Work professionally and effectively in high pressure environment to provide optimum customer services
Professional approach towards problem solving and discussing any concerns with your manager immediately
Coordinating with other departments e.g. Housekeeping, Purchasing and Logistics etc.
Being an advocate for systems enhancements to improve inventory management processes, Inventory and data accuracy
Organising and participating in all Stock counts and Stock Take
Adhering to all Company policies and procedures, particularly in regard to health and safety Manual work involved transferring, Loading and unloading stock
Any other duties as and when requested
Profile Essential:
Previous experience within a similar role
Excellent analytical and numerical credentials
Advanced Knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel
Proven organisational and time-management skills
Fantastic communication skills - verbal and written
Flexibility required to work over weekends and longer hours (minimum 5 days out of 7 per week)
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Knowledge of health and safety criteria
Details
The role is permanent. Full time working hours Monday - Friday minimum 40 hours a week. Weekend work is also required on occasions.
