We are working with a large well known company located in the heart of Sheffield. Our client is keen to secure an experienced health & safety officer who is able to fit into a busy department and hit the ground running.

This person needs to possess their IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications and be aware of all current health & safety legislation in order to ensure all compliances are met.

Ideally this role will suit someone at the latter end of their career who maybe looking for a part-time role, reduction in hours or potentially has been working as a consultant.

Our client needs someone to provide guidance and ensure that the working environment is safe and environmentally friendly.

Demonstrate and expert knowledge allong with clear definemet of all relevance with the HSE.

Knowledge and implementation skills linked to legislation, including approved policies and agreed standards, with focuson particular attention to ISO45001.

MI and reporting to meet the agreed objectives.

Maintain accurate records of all inspections undertaken both by all relevant parties.

Be able to manage production of reports, this will include identifying risks and subsequent mitigating criterias.

Be able to educate current line managers ensuring a programme of health, safety and wellbeing inspections/audits and develop a full report on the findings. and feedback.
