PENSION SCHEME TRUSTEE - VACANCY
Church of Scotland Pension Schemes
Background: The Church of Scotland has three defined benefit schemes providing benefitstoover5,000deferredandpensionermembers.The schemes were closed to future accrual in 2013.
Twoofthe three schemes are over 100%fundedona technical provisions basis.
Assets under managementfor the three schemes are circa GBP500M.
Avacancyhas arisen on the Boardfor aTrustee tohelpoversee the management ofthe three schemes.While previousexperiencewouldbe anadvantage, itisnot essential. The Pensions Regulator however requires you to have the relevant knowledge and understanding to perform your role within six months of your appointment and training support will be provided.
The position is voluntary and reasonable expenses will be re-imbursed.
