We have a fantastic opportunity to join a large transformation team as a Project Planner, here in Northgate Centre based in Darlington. As the Project Planner you will be responsible for supporting and delivering of programmes and projects using the Northgate methodology and professional best practice. You will also support project managers with the complex planning, scheduling, resourcing and administration of their projects and work packages - with tracking of time and costs for the project.
The Project Planner will work closely with the project managers to secure the appropriate resources and co-ordinate the internal project team and third-party contractors/suppliers in order to deliver assigned projects in line with the overall Northgate strategy.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar position or be a project manager that wants to focus on the planning side of the role and be confident using MS Project at an advanced level alongside MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract ending May 2020
