Marketing Communications Manager

Mexichem is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of fluoroproducts that play a fundamental role in enhancing everyday lives. The products from our Fluor Business Group are used in a vast range of applications such as the construction of towns and cities, keeping homes cool, food fresh and even in the treatment of respiratory conditions.  We are the largest producer of fluorspar in the world, accounting for over 20% of global supply, and also produce around 10% of global hydrofluoric acid supply. 

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Marketing Communications Manager to join us in our Pharmaceuticals department in Thornton, Chester.

Within this role, you will be responsible for managing the Company’s’ marketing activities. You will use market research and analysis to develop, agree and direct marketing strategy and planning. You will also oversee the development of the agreed brand and production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Reports marketing and sales results to senior teams.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous Marketing experience within a technical services background with all activity being business-to-business.  You will ideally have experience in the Pharma or FMCG sectors, and will be experienced in the use of varied marketing strategies.  Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production etc is also a requirement.

The successful candidate will need to be confident in networking and lobbying as you will be expected to attend trade shows and manage a sizeable but potentially moving budget.

This is an office based role with some working from home time.
