Permanent / 37.5 hours per week
This is an exciting time to join St Mungo’s as we are now at the halfway stage of our five year organisational strategy, our ambition is to end homelessness and we are working hard to reverse the increase in people sleeping rough in England. In the areas where we work, we aim to halve the number of people sleeping rough by 2021. To support this ambition we are expanding our services to rough sleepers, across London.
We have a variety of exciting job opportunities across London, working as part of our Rough Sleeping Service. These include roles in our Assessment Hubs, Criminal Justice service team and Tenancy Sustainment team. More roles will also become available in the future.
We are looking for people with experience of working at pace in a public facing environment who have some understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerable people and the difficulties they experience in accessing services. If you have good communication skills, are able to work with others whilst managing your own time and have the ability to empower individuals to make positive changes and a willingness to develop these valuable skills we want to hear from you.
Above all we are looking for inspirational, committed individuals who have a genuine desire to support people to rebuild their lives.
