Salary: £13,310 - £14,610 (pro rata of £16,824 - £17,899) + excellent benefits

Contract Type: Term time only, 36 weeks per year, 37 hours per week, fixed term until 31st August 2020

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the team here at the College as a Technician in Learning Opportunities. You will manage the resources and equipment in the Learning Opportunities kitchen, Sensory Room, classrooms and all other key areas. In the role you will have a major impact on the experience of our Learning Opportunities students at the College, supporting through break and lunch periods as well as supporting the Early Years and Care section within the department.

The successful candidate will have Level 2 Maths and English qualifications, or be willing to achieve these if appointed to the post. You will have previous experience in maintaining teaching areas and knowledge of learners with addition needs. Computer literacy is essential, as is the ability to work well alone and as part of a team. The role does require that the Technician starts at 8:30 am to ensure areas are prepared before students arrive for the day.
