COO required for a sustainable, digitally led, fashion Brand whose USP is creating premium, essential products from bio, lab-grown, recycled and natural materials.

The company is already established in the US and currently operate between the US, Norway, Zurich, Moscow, China, Japan, Dubai. - the office in London will, essentially, be a start up but will eventually, provide a Head Office function.

The COO we are looking for will support us quite heavily on D2C operational needs and strategy. For example, handling warehousing related (everything from contracts to issues with shipments), should have payment systems knowledge, potentially handle payroll, but also advise and execute strategy for our global expansion.

Superior analytical and quantitative skills is required. We essentially need someone that wakes up every morning and thinks of ways to optimize and improve our systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Overall planning, organisation and operational control of the business;

Building corporate governance and structure to optimise processes to lead and drive x-functional collaboration within teams;

Creating and maintaining the innovation journey based on company strategic priorities;

Establishing meaningful relationships with key partners and stakeholders both internally and externally;

Building long and short-term project action plans and driving their execution;

Assessing the current team needs and recruiting key additional talent, in some cases building up teams from scratch.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and hard-working professional to become part of our international team.

Strong fashion/e-commerce/FMCG production and operations background is a must, proven experience in leading and scaling a large ambitious project or digital startup/brand.

We are after someone who is also flexible and ready to travel extensively..

Skills and expertise include, but are not limited to:

D2C/start-up operations background Start-up and innovation mindset

Understanding of production facilities and cycle

Out of the box thinking and readiness to learn and disrupt the fashion industry

Strong organizational skills

Superior operational skills

Experience in leading a diverse team/collective

Excellent understanding of direct to consumer/e-commerce business model

Ability to manage a multinational team, recruit the right profiles and help them to grow

Understand and work to brand and commercial KPI's Excellent communication skills
