Branch Manager - High Wycombe
Do you have excellent management team and the ability to manage a branch and support the team? Manpower has teamed up with an outstanding company who specialise in construction and ventilation equipment to recruit for their busy High Wycombe branch. Hours of work will be Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm & Fri 8am - 4pm
Salary - GBP37,500 per year
Responsibilities
- To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the branch with duties including but not be restricted too;
- The close monitoring of sales order processing, quotations, stock control, credit control, warehouse operations, transportation of goods, staff administration, customer services, Health & Safety and generally working within the systems laid down by the Company.
- To also maximise and further develop business opportunities within the sales area.
Experience needed
The successful individual will have:-
- Experience of working in a similar role and / or environment
- Possess good core product and / or air movement product knowledge
- An NVQ 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service
- Be computer literate
- Proficient PC skills with MS Office packages including MS Excel, Word, Outlook & Explorer
- Basic PC skills with MS PowerPoint package
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- A logical thinker with the ability to solve problems pro-actively
- Good organisational skills
- Good housekeeping skills
- Be a team leader with the ability to train & motivate people
- Able to work effectively as a part of a team but also independently
- To be proactive, accurate, flexible and willing to learn new skills
- Be self-motivated
- Have stock control experience
- Have or have experience of (however not essential) UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate,
- EFAW Certificate, IOSH Practical Safety or Working Safely certificate, Fire Warden training,
- experience of MS Ax system.
