About Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Bradford

Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Bradford is a new secondary school for 11 to 18 year old boys that will open in September 2019. The school will have a Muslim faith designation, welcoming applications from pupils of all faiths and none. During its opening year, the school will admit an intake of 120 pupils into Year 7. The school will continue to admit a new intake of Year 7 pupils at the beginning of each academic year. Like all Star schools, it will have a leadership specialism.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.

You will have:

• An understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment
• Experience of carrying out specialist building maintenance work, within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson
• Ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date
• Ability to provide high quality supervision, training and support to cleaning staff.
