We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our passionate, friendly and dedicated team at our busy Golf Club set within the Mendip Hills. You will be required to work as part of our kitchen team servicing a busy bar, Weddings and functions.
The candidate will assist and support the head Chef in the day to day catering operations, including taking full responsibility for all aspects of kitchen management in the absence of the head Chef. This position would appeal to individual looking for more social hours than would be expected from traditional catering operation.
Hours of work will be 5 days over 7 which will include weekends and a few evenings. We are a seasonal business with higher demand during the summer and less during the winter with a working pattern that would reflect this. This is a great opportunity for someone to further develop their skills with working hours that allow a social life.
The other benefits include Pension, Free Golf or use of our Fitness Centre. Holidays 20 days plus 8 Bank Holidays.
