Electrical Design Engineer
Based - Mansfield

Our client, a Mechanical and Electrical Contracting company provide commercial services on a nationwide basis and are now seeking to recruit for this pivotal role.
The successful applicant will work alongside the electrical director and contracts team to help design commercial installations with value of between GBP400K & GBP1.5M.
You will be a self-motivated professional, working closely with our clients to produce designs for varying sized projects. The successful individual will be ambitious and well organized with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. This prominently office based role is a fantastic opportunity to join a young, thriving department within an established company.
Key responsibilities:
• Prepare conceptual and detailed designs.
• Ensure projects utilise the most appropriate passive or low energy solutions.
• Maintaining relationships with Architects, Contractors and Clients
• Work on multiple (5 to 10) projects at various stages of design at any one time.
• Take a design-led, creative approach to Electrical design.
The Individual:
Electrical Engineering / Contracting Background
Strong Telephone / IT / Numeracy Skills
Experienced Estimator with good proven track record
Full UK Driving License
Highly Motivated
Strong Organizational Skills
Team Player, Friendly But Professional Persona
Summary:
Salary: GBP30k - GBP35k per annum (dep on experience) + Pension
Holidays - 23 days per annum + Bank Holidays
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday/ 4pm Finish on Fridays
