We’re getting ready to count on you

Have a positive impact on your local community, meet some brilliant people and learn new skills. As part of the 2019 census rehearsal team, you’ll enjoy a unique experience – and be part of making history.

The census is a once-in-a-decade survey that gives us the most accurate estimate of all the people and households in England and Wales.

The next census takes place in 2021. It aims to count everyone and will help to decide how services are planned and funded in your community. There’s no other survey that gives as much detail about us and our society.

We now have a number of exciting full and part-time opportunities to help with the 2019 rehearsal, which range from managerial positions to roles working directly with the public. Contract periods range from three and a half weeks to several months (inclusive of holiday), but all offer the chance to be part of something special.

As well as flexible hours and the opportunity to meet all kinds of people, you’ll be helping to collect data about your area. With this information, the Government can make crucial decisions about everything from housing to transport. That means you’ll be helping to make a lasting impact on your local community. It’s a unique experience – and it only comes around once every ten years.

Arolwg a gaiff ei gynnal unwaith bob degawd sy'n rhoi'r amcangyfrif mwyaf cywir o'r holl bobl a chartrefi yng Nghymru a Lloegr yw'r cyfrifiad.

Cynhelir y cyfrifiad nesaf yn 2021. Y nod yw cyfrif pawb a bydd yn helpu i benderfynu ar y ffordd y caiff gwasanaethau eu cynllunio a'u hariannu yn eich cymuned. Nid oes unrhyw arolwg arall sy'n rhoi cymaint o fanylion amdanom ni a'n cymdeithas.

Mae gennym nifer o gyfleoedd llawn amser a rhan amser cyffrous ar hyn o bryd i helpu gydag ymarfer 2019, sy'n amrywio o swyddi rheoli i rolau yn gweithio'n uniongyrchol gyda'r cyhoedd. Mae cyfnod contractau'n amrywio o dair wythnos a hanner i sawl mis (gan gynnwys gwyliau), ond mae pob un yn cynnig y cyfle i fod yn rhan o rywbeth arbennig.

Yn ogystal ag oriau hyblyg a'r cyfle i gwrdd â phob math o bobl, byddwch yn helpu i gasglu data am eich ardal. Gyda'r wybodaeth hon, gall y Llywodraeth wneud penderfyniadau hanfodol am bopeth o dai i drafnidiaeth. Mae hynny'n golygu y byddwch yn helpu i gael effaith barhaol ar eich cymuned leol. Mae'n brofiad unigryw – a dim ond unwaith bob 10 mlynedd mae'n codi.
