CAM Programmer

The purpose of this role is to generate and verify CNC programs for the various machine tools within the company using NX CAM software, eventually moving onto shifts after a period of training.

Some of the duties this role will include are;
1. To generate CNC Programs run on machine tools
2. Verify CAM generated programs using Vericut Software
3. Work on tool, method and production standards
4. Regular liaison with workshops
5. Regular liaison with Design
6. Review and save proven programs onto Admit/Teamcenter
7. Collaborate with workshop personnel/managers on new machine methods
8. Work Shifts (to be discussed/agreed)
