About the Role
As a Logistics Assistant, you’ll be joining our Supply Chain Team and playing a vital role in managing and planning inbound goods to UK, Europe and North America. You will work with the customs agents and HMRC in the UK or CBP in the US to maintain the highest data quality for our declared goods.
Specifically, you will ensure 3PLs and other external stakeholders comply with our SLAs.
You will maintain the company ERP system, file documents, book delivery slots into the warehouse for inbound goods and undertake a variety of additional supporting tasks.
What You’ll Need
To be considered as a Logistics Assistant, you will need:
- Administrative experience gained within a supply chain, international trade, logistics or freight environment
- The ability to prioritise your workload
- An analytical mindset
- A quality-focused approach
Experience in the retail sector would be beneficial to your application. Experience of working with freight forwarding companies would be advantageous, as would knowledge of international trade terms and requirements, cost calculations and import planning.
