Joining them as an Employment Advisor, you will assist the Funding and Compliance Co-Ordinator and the Employment Services Manager and Employment Services team to support the delivery of the ESF Skill Support for Unemployed contract supporting unemployed adults, by ensuring an effective and efficient Employment Advisor service is provided.

Proactively mentoring, guiding and supporting SSU learners into sustainable employment opportunities, you will determine the learner’s employment goals and suitability for specific employment opportunities; identifying suitable employment opportunities by developing relationships with local employers and internal sales teams.  You will also provide 1-2-1 support advice and guidance and In Work Support once the customer is employed to ensure sustainability and remove any potential barriers to remaining in work.

With knowledge of the Local Labour Market and employment growth opportunities and recent experience of dealing with unemployed individuals, external partners and agencies to support people into work, the successful candidate will be capable of managing your own workload and deal with conflicting demands and timescales.
