We are looking for a Graduate Recruitment coordinator to work in one of the UKs most successful law firms. The firm adopts a positive and forward thinking approach to their work that allows them to adapt to an ever changing legal landscape. The HR team that you'll be working with provides the highest level of service to the firm, offering operational and policy advice to business partners and quality support services to the complete range of HR functions. The team is highly supportive and is looking for a candidate that will be able to develop within the role, becoming independent and expand their core skills throughout their career.

The role works as part of the Graduate Recruitment Team, responsible for the hiring of around 100 trainees per year.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to the Graduate Recruitment team
  • Dealing with day-to-day recruitment queries from prospective candidates and Partners
  • Organise and run events as part of our on campus strategy
  • Attend on-campus events, including law fairs, skills events and presentations
  • Own and drive our university relationships
  • Screen online applications
  • Run assessment days during our interview seasons
  • Responsible for driving forward our social media activities

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Excellent organisation, analytical and administration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work, as travel will be required to university events and some campus events will take place outside of typical working hours
  • Confident communication skills with a friendly and mature approach
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment

Essential Experience

  • Previous recruitment experience within a busy department, ideally within a blue chip and/or professional service company is essential.
  • Previous experience running social media campaigns
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Be able to identify and evaluate problems and demonstrate the ability to approach and tackle problems effectively
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and/or HR systems.
