Salary:                                £18,000 - £21,000 p.a. pro rata

Hours:                                 24 hours per week

Summary of the role

South Bristol Youth are seeking a part-time home-based Finance Assistant to join their team. The role requires the successful candidate to:

• Assist the Finance Manager to provide an efficient finance system to support the work of the SBY team
• Assist the Finance Manager to compile timely and accurate monthly management accounts
• Liaise with suppliers and the SBY team to facilitate timely processing of purchase orders, invoices and staff expenses
• Use the Xero accounting system to issue detailed reports to the SBY team
• Deal with multiple ad hoc queries
• Attend meetings as required.

The successful candidate must have: a finance qualification or equivalent experience, 3 years relevant work experience including bookkeeping experience, have strong organisational and communication skills, be able to drive (or use alternative means of travel to various destinations) and work flexibly from home.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, well regarded and forward-thinking organisation.
