Project Planner

A Project Planner with experience of Master Schedules and EVM is required to join a global aerospace company to support projects across the EuMEA region.

Role: Project Planner
As Project Planner you will be responsible for:

- Preparing, developing and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule to meet programme objectives
- Utilising Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, Earned Value Management (EVM), and other project management techniques to communicate progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
- Working with the Cost Analyst to ensure the cost and schedule are reconciled on a regular basis and takes proactive steps to correct and/or address root cause
- Generation of strawman Integrated Master Schedule models working independently from Proposal (RFP) documents such as the Statement of Work (SOW), and Contractor/Supplier Data Requirements List (C/SDRLs)
- Performing and analysing Schedule Risk Assessments and analyses on the baseline IMS to identify schedule risks and opportunities

Experience:

As Project Planner you will have experience of:

- Degree qualified or equivalent work experience within a relevant field
- Proficient in the use of Primavera Planning tools (eg P6)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (eg Excel, PowerPoint)
- A thorough understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements
- Familiar with the principles of Configuration Control
- Good communicator
- Knowledgeable of the aerospace and defence industry would be beneficial
