Leasehold Management Officer
Based in Tower Hamlets E14 or Billericay Essex
Salary: London £33,150 per annum (dependent on level of expertise)
Salary: Essex £29,131 per annum (dependent on level of expertise)
Our client, a housing association, provides high-quality and affordable homes to rent and buy. They operate in Essex and East London and manage over 11,000 homes, with approximately 1,400 leasehold and shared ownership properties.
They pride themselves in providing excellent customer service and are looking for a like-minded individual, with a positive ‘can do’ approach to deliver a leasehold management service to around 500 properties. The role is based at their London Regional Office in E14, but you will also be required to travel to other locations, which they will reimburse you for.
This is a varied and challenging role, dealing with complex legal issues including service charges, dispute resolution, statutory consultation, sales and resales, Right to Buy and Right to Acquire, staircasing, invoicing and interpreting and enforcing lease conditions.
They are looking for someone that is customer focussed, with excellent communication and people skills, confidence when working with financial data and accounting information, and who has a passion for problem solving. You must be proactive and able to work to deadlines in a pressurised/right first time environment, managing your own time and workload to meet both individual and team targets.
Their recognition as both a “Times Top 100 Best Not-For-Profit Companies to Work For” and Investors In People (IIP) Gold accreditation highlight their commitment to a professional and supportive workplace with a culture of learning & development. They also offer a wide range of benefits, including Private Healthcare and Life assurance, a Pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.
