Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer
Reading-based air conditioning contractor Gelidus Limited has opened an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer to join our friendly and quality-focused team.
Full training will be provided throughout the 4-year apprenticeship where you'll undertake a mix of installation, service and maintenance work in a wide variety of settings under the supervision of our experienced engineers and Managers.
The training programme will include day-release study at Eastleigh College where you'll gain NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications over a 3-year period to become a fully-qualified air conditioning engineer.
In addition you'll undertake various short courses where you'll learn how to work safely and receive technical training from the mainstream equipment manufacturers.
Requirements:
* You must be based within a 20 mile radius of our offices in Theale and have achieved GSCE Grade C or better in English, Maths and a Science.
* You must have good communication and organisational skills, and a practical hands-on aptitude.
* The role requires a good level of fitness and a full UK driving licence.
