Overview:
Our Employer Engagement Consultants or " Job Brokers" are driven, dynamic and supportive individuals.
They provide tailored job brokering and recruitment for our Work and Health Programme caseload. Engaging with employers and bringing in relevant vacancies that meet our customer's employment needs. , the Job Brokers provide sustainable employment opportunities to our participants who often have complex needs. It's a very fulfilling role that will suit someone who is solutions focused, outgoing, adaptable and enjoys hitting targets.

Responsibilities:
• Brokering opportunities (Work Tasters, Work Experience, Work Trials, Working Interviews and Vacancies) for participants, building and maintaining portfolio of local employer accounts
• Managing vacancies from our central Employer Services Team
• Developing strong links with employers through regular telephone and face-to-face contact
• Understanding the requirements of employers and matching participants against this criteria
• Negotiating alternative method of recruitment, e.g. Working Interviews, Job Carving
• Executing reverse marketing strategies to create employment opportunities for specific participants in line with their individual skills and experience
• Understanding the skills, interests and experience of participants and proactively matching them to opportunities
• Increasing the knowledge of advisors to ensure understanding of employer requirements, agreed processes, and access to required toolkits to prepare and submit successful, sustainable candidates
• Delivering bespoke pre-employment workshops, where appropriate, to the needs of employers and advisors
• Working with employer partners to ensure they are fully 'disability confident', and providing support around the disability agenda
• Providing accurate information around any disability related enquiries
• Ensuring accurate reporting of all activity using the Case Management System
• Providing liaison between employers and Keyworkers, where appropriate, to support the sustainability of customers - this could include attendance at employer sites to support Induction, resolution of issues and accompanied Interviewers

• Demonstrable influencing skills that promote commitment and action
• Ability to manage conflicting objectives and demonstrate strong negotiation skills to resolve any issues
• Strong completer/finisher with the ability to plan and organise people, workloads and business plan to meet challenging targets and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong team player with a positive and flexible approach to both work and colleagues
• Ability to deliver training to a wide audience
• Knowledge of a variety of employment sectors with the designated geography
• Positive mind-set, resilient and flexible
• Able to travel to different sites across the Borough
• Able to work outside of normal office hours on occasions
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Demonstrable experience of achieving and exceeding targets
• Extensive experience of employer engagement
• Significant experience of delivering successful plans to agreed timescales
