We are looking for a new Operations Officer to join our South West Regional Office in Corston.

The role of a DofE Regional Office is to guide, support and develop partner organisations in their DofE delivery; we do not work directly with young people undertaking DofE programmes. Our partners, referred to as Licensed Organisations (LOs) include schools, colleges, universities, charities, secure units and local authorities.

This is an exciting time to be joining the South West Regional Office. We currently support over 350 Licensed Organisations who enable over 26,500 young people each year to start a DofE programme, 58% of whom achieve an Award. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, and effective people manager to join our team.

The Operations Officer will support the operation and development of the DofE through managing a portfolio of organisations across Bristol, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire. These are mostly, but not limited to, schools and colleges; referred to in the DofE as Licensed Organisations. The post holder will be located within the South West Regional Office in Corston, just outside Bath; when not visiting Licensed Organisations, the role will be office based.

The post holder will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the day to day contact and management of Licensed Organisations in order to support the attainment of Regional targets and objectives.

The postholder will be a passionate advocate for the work of the DofE and be driven to realise DofE South West’s ambition to enable any young person across the region who would like to, the opportunity to take part in the DofE.
