Learning and Development Lead (Part-time, contract)
Our client, a national and established charity, is currently recruiting for a learning and development lead. They will identify staff training and development needs, enabling the staff to develop to their full potential.
The Role
• Identify opportunities to coach staff to discover and overcome their personal barriers in order to fulfil their potential through job analysis, appraisals and consultation with HR/Managers
• Collaborate with managers and specialists to design and develop training
• Ensure training records and data are kept up to date and use of KPI's
• Explore and promote opportunities for further learning and development I.E NVQ's, Apprenticeships and further education
• Develop and coordinate an effective corporate induction programme
• Become a mentor for staff, providing support and advice on general wellbeing and work
The ideal candidate
• Degree level education in relevant subject or equivalent I.E CIPD or experience in a role designing and delivering training at the same level (essential)
• Experience of learning and development (essential)
• Effective communication and confidence
• Proficient IT skills, particularly with PowerPoint
• Excellent people skills with the ability to motivate and change attitudes
• Flexible and approachable
