PT HR Advisor
Minimum 9 month maternity cover contract
22.5 hours per week/ flexible days
South Leicester, Leicestershire
Up to GBP30k pro rata + GBP3k end of contract bonus + Benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our fast paced logistics client working 22.5 hours per week across 2 sites in South Leicester, Leicestershire and Rugby, Warwickshire, on a minimum 9 month maternity cover contract.
A stand-alone role, key duties for the PT HR Advisor will include:
* Support and advise Line Managers on employee relations issues, employment law, people & performance management, best practice, internal policies and procedures;
* Provide support and coaching to Line Managers on managing HR issues;
* Sit in on disciplinary and grievance meetings undertaking note taking;
* Assist Line Managers with recruitment, interviews and the induction process for new starters;
* Collate data for monthly payroll, check and submit to outsourced agency;
* Update and maintain Cascade HR database;
* Prepare and submit monthly reports to Head of HR, analysing trends in data;
* Assist Head of HR with projects related to 2 sites in the Midlands.
Experience, skills & attributes required from the PT HR Advisor will include:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a stand-alone HR Advisor role;
* Experienced in working with Line Managers to provide advice, guidance, support and coaching on employee relations;
* Experienced in grievances, disciplinaries, absence and performance management;
* Preferred CIPD qualification (not essential);
* Experienced in using HR databases (client database is Cascade);
* Self-sufficient with the ability to manage own workload and priorities;
* Open and encouraging working style with the experience of creating an approachable and supportive HR function;
* Flexibility to work across 2 sites;
* Driving licence.
Flexibility with working days & start/end times of each day
Proposed start date: October 2019
