My client is seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to assist the Business Development team in winning and pitching for new business. This is an opportunity to wine and dine some amazing clients and learn all you need to know about the Construction and Property industry. This role is perfect for you if you have some experience in Business Development or are a Graduate with some sales experience.

Due to the nature of this role, occasional anti-social hours and national / international travel is to be expected.

The Business Development Executive will have the following responsibilities:

  • Calling and identifying potential clients.
  • Creating PowerPoints to take to pitches.
  • Adhering to all compliance and GDPR requirements
  • Research and develop all facets of the business and the market opportunities for them.
  • Establish and develop relationships with new clients and stakeholders.
  • Organising and attend client and business development meetings.
  • Developing and implementing growth opportunities for the business.

The Business Development Executive will need the following:

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Keen to build a network of professional contacts and open to hosting networking events (with support of colleagues)
  • Good sales skills / transferable skills
  • Excellent social media skills (responsible for growing own presence and 'voice' online)
  • Experience of blogging / content creation
  • Efficient time management
