Position: Business Developer
Location: HQ in Slough, United Kingdom (flexibility on base location)
We are looking for a sales professional with a proven track record in deal origination and acquisition of new business. Prior experience in solar industry, energy storage and electric vehicle sectors and existing relationships with decision-makers is a plus. The position would be based in our HQ in Slough, with a possibility to work remotely and requirement to travel according to business needs. If you're a skilled Business Developer (preferably with experience in our industry), creative and dynamic, we'd like to meet you.
Job description:
• Source and build a pipeline of companies in the UK and Europe suitable for solar PV, energy storage and electric vehicle equipment supply and/or installations• Prepare presentations and develop energy plans and frameworks for corporate clients• Arrange meetings and deliver presentations to decision-markets at targeted companies• Work with in-house resources and partners to prepare project proposals• Negotiate scope or work, project budget and schedule with clients to close sales transactions• Cultivate relationship with clients and communicate milestones and due dates throughout a project• Provide reports and manage all leads through a CRM platform• Travel throughout the UK and Europe as required
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales or business development role in renewable energy industry• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering or a relevant field• Language skills: fluent in English• Profile: intelligent & articulate, with strong business aptitude and high level of personal integrity
