About Tong Leadership Academy
Tong Leadership Academy is a state-of-the-art secondary school for 11 to 18 year olds in Bradford. We joined Star Academies in 2016 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.
What does the role look like?
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist in providing high quality school meals, ensuring compliance with all legislation relating to the school meals service.
- Have a willingness to participate in development and training opportunities
- Experience of working in a large catering environment
- Be able to demonstrate good co-operative, interpersonal and effective listening skills
- The ability to use relevant equipment after training.
