Are you an experienced Warehouse supervisor looking to expand your responsibilities with products at a unique and professional company? Our clients have been operating in the transport and logistics industry for a number of years and have become a well-established company
THE JOB ROLE
??Responsible for supervising a team of up to 30 Fort Lift Truck Drivers
??Be proactive in the smooth running of operations to provide a exceptional service
??Ensure all freight that arrives into the warehouse is unloaded safely and distributed to the correct bays
??Ensure all palletised freight is reloaded and processed in an effective way to ensure a safe and cost effective delivery to its next destination
??Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies to ensure and maintain a safe working environment
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
??Highly analytical and must be able to react quickly to situations
??Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
??The ability to effectively handle contacts in every department both internally and externally
??Be able to complete work to deadlines ensuring standards are kept at all times.
??Have a positive, empathetic and customer focused approach to work
??Strong influencing skill with the ability to motivate people to drive continuous results
THE PACKAGE
??47.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 6:00pm-7:00am
??GBP28,000 - GBP31,000 (Depending on skill set and experience)
??Onsite parking and canteen facilities
??Work place pension
??Annual holiday of 20 days with annual service increase plus 8 bank holidays
