Here at Fresh, we are now looking for a General Manager at The Gateway, and occasionally at Impact in Sheffield.

Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for the daily running of the site; developing and implementing a plan to let the building year on year and keeping abreast of market changes, regularly updating competitor analysis. Maintaining and developing close working relationships with key institutions, you will ensure all steps of the booking process are completed and represent Five Nine Living and the accommodation schemes at housing fairs and open days.

As General Manager, you will have responsibility for drafting the annual budget setting process, ensuring costs are obtained and an accurate forecast of expenditure is provided. You’ll also respond to customer and client enquiries, review results of customer satisfaction surveys and provide a social event diary to enhance the customer experience.

This is a very hands on role which will require you to successfully balance out the serious aspects of the role with the social and fun aspects, creating a community where young professionals want to live and work!

About You

We’re looking for a highly motivated and driven individual who has proven property management experience, ideally within a lettings environment. Personable, approachable and with good communication skills, you will have the ability to build excellent working relationships and have confidence when it comes to achieving KPI’s. We’ll also need you to be able to maintain high quality presentation of the building, successfully collect rent from customers and be able to control expenditure in line with budget.

A full driving licence is essential to allow you to freely travel between both sites.
