Finance Bursar. Salary £55K to £60K + Excellent Benefits. Our client, a highly successful organisation seeks a qualified Accountant to undertake this key position as Head of the Finance Team. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Planning, you will possess sound commercial experience, particularly in the area of Management Accounts, Statutory Reporting, Financial Planning and Budgetary Control, Cash Management as well as Capital Planning. You will also be responsible for the delivery and management and control of all strategic financial plans together with reports, forecasts and financial control data, Payroll, and Taxation Matters. Candidates should possess the confidence to query information and the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is essential, as well as being a good written and verbal communicator and negotiator. You will be Computer literate, with experience in developing systems for improvement and efficiencies.

*Qualified accountant, preferably ACA, ACCA or CIMA
*Financial acuity and experience of budgeting
*Strong financial and commercial acumen
*Excellent written and oral skills
*Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
*Knowledge of accounting and administration systems
*Financial reporting (internal and external)
*Payroll and debtor management
*Able to prioritise short, medium- and long-term plans to ensure objectives are met
*First class planning, analysis and organisational skills
*Strong and effective leadership
