Due to expansion, this privately-owned, reputable, construction company, are looking for an experienced Document Controller/ Office Administrator, ideally with a background in the Construction/ Building industry, to be part of the team and their ongoing success story.

Specialising in providing full building envelope solutions to tier 1 main contractors across the UK, this new and exciting permanent, full-time role, would suit a dynamic and motivated office administrator/ document controller who can bring in ideas and make this role their own.

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER/ OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR - CONSTRUCTION

LOCATION: Based from the Office in Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood, Essex.  You may be looking for Office Administrator/ Document Controller jobs in the Chipping Ongar, Brentwood, Abridge, Epping, Romford, Billericay, Chelmsford, Chigwell, Essex areas.

SALARY:  £22,000 - £25,000 plus benefits, pension, 5 weeks holiday, plenty of free onsite parking, warm and welcoming office environment.

HOURS:  9.00am – 5.30pm Monday- Friday

As Office Administrator/ Document Controller, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager, working as part of a small, hardworking team.  As the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and incoming mail, your varied role will be to coordinate all activities relating to operations, liaising with designers, estimators and buyers, ensuring all document control records are managed and organised so that they are current and up to date.  Duties include:

* Managing technical documents, drawings and records.

* Monitoring compliance across all documentation.

* Developing new systems using document control and driving process improvements.

* Providing document support to the team.

* Maintaining the company’s office administrative systems.

You will be a good team player, with a strong personality, able to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent computer skills and a good clear telephone manner. Your attention to detail as well as your down-to-earth, positive ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to generally ‘muck in’ as part of the team, will contribute towards a fun and rewarding career.

Your technical ability and knowledge of the building / construction industry, alongside your knowledge of document management software such as Doc Elite or similar document control solutions, would be useful in order to be able to work both independently and efficiently. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.

Your background will be in Administrative or Secretarial work. Your current or previous Admin jobs may include: Assistant Document Controller, Engineering Administrator, Document Support Administrator, Technical Administrator, Service Administrator, Service Maintenance Administrator, Engineering Service Co-ordinator or similar.
