Full time Accounts / Admin Assistant

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Our client is looking to appoint an Accounts/Admin Assistant to join our office in Harlow on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours a week.

The role will involve working to deadlines therefore organisational skills are important as well as prompt and accurate attention to detail.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Sales invoices
  • RBS factoring and reconciliation
  • Wage journals
  • Subcontractor payroll – calculating figures, chasing invoices & paying wages
  • Processing of supplier and Sub-contractor invoices 
  • Processing, matching & transferring of Bank & Credit cards
  • Bank, Credit cards and supplier reconciliations 
  • CIS calculations and payments
  • Chasing Purchase orders for customers & suppliers
  • Credit Control
  • EOM payment runs
  • Sending figures over to Accountants for Salaries, chasing wage slips and payment of Salaries.
  • Chasing Receipts
  • Figures over to Managers weekly
  • Setting up new customers and accounts
  • Producing quotes  
  • General admin including booking hotels, answering phones & filing.


Key Skills

  • Knowledge of SageOne/Quickbooks
  • Word/Excel & Outlook
  • Simpro - but not essential


  • Previous Accounts experience is preferable
