Badenoch & Clark are working with our award winning public sector client, based in Wolverhampton, who are looking for an interim Procurement Manager for a maternity cover contract until May 2020. The focus will be Social Care, Public Health & Education. Please note, experience within these categories is essential. This will be a day rate role, inside IR35.

Located in the heart of the city of Wolverhampton, our client offer a modernised working environment with great transport links and flexible working hours.

Ideally, you will have public sector procurement experience and possess a good understanding of Public Contract Regulations 2015, you will have already achieved MCIPS, or are well on your way, and you are committed to developing professionally. You can see the big picture and look for opportunities to deliver improvement, efficiency and have good relationship management skills.

Your role will be:

- To provide procurement and contract management expertise to successfully source and commercially manage contracts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Council procedures that commissioning outcomes are met, providers' proposals are delivered and relationships are developed to maximise the value and benefits from third party spend.
