The Opportunity:
This is a key support role working with and alongside our clients mortgage advisers. This may also include activities undertaken by any of their other group companies.

The role is ideal for anybody who is interested in progressing a career in financial services as it involves establishing a detailed understanding of mortgages and advice in order to support financial advisers with complex mortgage cases. It offers a unique opportunity to develop within the role and build up key skills and knowledge to progress, if desired towards being a qualified financial adviser.

The candidate will need to show a keen interest to progress and be highly self motivated.

The Role:
1.Undertake in depth reviews with clients
2.Maintenance of client records
3.Accurate recording and tracking of clients actions
4.Collating, scanning, recording and processing of relevant mandatory documentation
5.Processing Mortgage Applications. Main activities will include:
-Submitting application & supporting documentation both electronically and via post
-Pursue cases through the mortgage submission process to completion
-Mortgage processing tasks of all descriptions
6.Manning the Client Support desk and handling client enquiries
7.Build and maintain relationships with finance intermediaries and finance advisers
8.General administrative duties eg Post /Faxes
9.Support the team with any issues that may arise
10.Handle inbound calls as a result of marketing activity
11.Learn the skills and activities involved in supporting new initiatives

Benefits and Further Information:
The hours of work are 9am until 5:30pm although the candidate will be expected to ensure all work is completed wherever required, which may require additional hours.
Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience. 20 Days holiday per annum.

There will be additional opportunities for candidates with relevant mortgage qualifications or who wish to continue with any relevant financial services qualifications but this is not essential nor is it required.
