Debt and Billing Manager

On behalf of our client; a rapidly growing energy provider focusing on providing energy to customers with prepayment meters. Since 2017, the company has seen some rapid growth with the long-term goal of being a market leader. Based in a desirable city centre location, the modern offices offer an enjoyable environment, supplemented by a friendly workforce.

A core business role, supporting the finance function within the business, reporting into the commercial Director. Responsible for Debt management and customer billing.

This is a brand-new role created by the demands of a growing business, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate they are able to understand the complexities of a billing system. The candidate will be responsible for a small team responsible for the debt management of the company.

The job role will include but is not limited to;

  • Debt management, managing a team actively liaising with customers them to resolve payment issues.

  • Responsible for the companies Debt management, including 3rd party liaison and strategy reviews.

  • Analysis and reporting to rest of company, highlight issues and areas to be resolved.

  • Aim to become Billing SME (subject matter expert) to assist the company in relation to relevant projects, creating training material for 1st line call centre advisors.

  • Customer Identification management, liaising with 3rd parties to identify responsible individual.

  • Responsible for processing customer refunds.

The successful candidate should have;

  • An organised approach to work

  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
