Purpose of the Job
We are looking to recruit experienced gardeners/grounds maintenance operatives to carry out gardening/grounds maintenance duties on housing estates in areas such as Cambridge, Northampton, Corby and Bury St Edmunds. We are looking for people who love the outdoors and are willing to get their hands dirty.
If you are passionate about gardening, have at least 2 years' experience gardening and are able to use all the tools of the trade (lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, weed eaters etc), we want to hear from you.
Duties
The role will entail general gardening to a high standard and duties will include:
* Cutting Grass
* Using the hedge trimmer
* Operating the leaf blowing machine
* Grounds Maintenance
* Any additional gardening duties
You will be travelling to numerous sites across a wide area so a Driving Licence is essential. A PA1 and PA6 Pesticide Licence would also be an advantage
The right candidates will have:
* Good English communication
* Be physically fit
* Good plant knowledge
* Have safety boots
This is a full time and permanent job working during the day on Mondays to Fridays
