Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

They are currently looking to recruit for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join them on a part time basis to cover 25 hours per week, assisting the Team Leader to ensure the provision of a smooth-running support service.

Inputting source documents, and processing expenses, ensuring they are properly authorised and processed within the correct accounting period, you will support the Team Leader in ensuring that the period end reports and reconciliations are able to be done in an accurate and timely manner whilst dealing with enquiries from internal and external customers, referring them to more senior staff as appropriate. 

You will also assist with budgeting, period end processes and year-end queries as required by the Finance Team Leaders and complete administration duties as necessary.

Candidates for this role should have experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally with some background of managing finance processes.  An AAT qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
