Immediate temporary opening for an experienced Procurement Administrator. This role is ongoing and based in Telford.

Responsible for :-

• The provision, procurement, and stock inventory management/accounting of Corporate Wear; Workwear; Personal Protective Equipment Items and any associated ancillaries; Safety footwear.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Procurement Administrator will be:-

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Continual review of the inventory stockholdings, raising purchase requests when required, to replenish/order products detailed above

• Ensure sufficient stocks of fast moving products are held to support Operational Areas and other business areas, in the most cost effective manner

• Procurement of products detailed above as requested by internal customers

• Procurement of additional Clothing & PPE items not detailed above

• Ordering Clothing items utilising the Mathias MUMS system

• Ordering PPE & Safety Footwear via the current provider

• Administration of the Stock Inventory

• Process of orders received from internal customers

• Process Goods In on the Stock Management System for goods received within agreed time frames

• Constant management of orders in Dues Out (Back Order) ensuring purchase requests/purchase orders are raised to satisfy these orders

• Constant management of Purchase Orders ensuring that overdue orders are hastened with suppliers

• Timely Clearance of Goods In paperwork and prompt notification to finance to reduce delay in the payment of invoices

• Maintain accurate records and ensure that all Purchase Request logs; Clothing Logs & Safety Footwear Logs are updated at the earliest opportunity

• Review of the inventory to identify slow moving, over stocked or obsolescent items - notify the Procurement Manager so that appropriate action can be taken

• Monitor all Shelf life/Batch items to ensure old stock does not expire

• Ensure all hazardous items are identified and Safety Data Sheets provided when required

• Dealing directly with internal customers in respect of orders placed, product sourcing, and associated queries

• Dealing directly with KN Suppliers in respect of orders placed, discrepancies in consignments and product sourcing.

• Dealing directly with the Support Services warehouses with regards to inventory and goods in/out matters

• Timely archiving of electronic and manual records for audit purposes

Must have intermediate PC skills, Excel, Word and Outlook, understanding of warehouse practices eg; picking, loading, receiving, stocktaking

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check.
