We are changing the way we think, the way we work, and the ways in which we deliver our services.

Taking responsibility for the contract management of strategically significant service areas, within Adult Social Care, you will work alongside provider organisations and voluntary community services to provide effective management of contracts, ensuring that service level agreements and key performance indicators are monitored and that any improvements required are well planned and executed and successes are celebrated.

These roles will oversee contractual delivery, achieving positive outcomes as well as ensuring that contracts keep pace with Devon’s changing requirements and desire to continually improve services for the benefit of people, families and communities in Devon.

To support our agenda, we are looking for skilled and enthusiastic people to become part of our strategic commissioning and business relations team who will help us to drive forward our approach to contract management and compliance.

Working in Adult Commissioning and Health, you will:

You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and an ability to drive forward transformative change in a complex and evolving commissioning environment.

The contract management team will be based out of key strategic locations in South, North and East Devon and we will try to suit the location to a place which suits the applicant. The role will initially require regular travel to County Hall, Exeter in addition to locality-based working supported by mobile technologies to facilitate remote working.
