Production Technicians (Electronics)
Our established Client, an subcontract electronics manufacturer, based near Dartford is currently seeking a number of Production Technicians to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To be aware of all health and safety requirements.
* To understand and implement necessary anti-static precautions.
* To be competent in building PCB's up to flow solder stage, either by use of mascot tables or by hand.
* To be competent in preforming parts, either by use of machinery or by hand.
* To be competent in operating the PCB cropping machine prior to flow soldering.
* To be able to operate the flow solder machine at a basic level.
* To be fully competent in all areas of hand soldering techniques.
* To understand manufacturing documents and follow specific instructions.
* To follow instructions as indicated on BOM and route cards.
* To understand IPC (best practice) standards with regard to own area.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* General standard of education required
* Experience within electronic manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
