I am working alongside a prestigious Car Dealership in the Pontyclun area, who are currently looking to hire an experienced Workshop Controller to join their busy service Service Department.

Role/Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as part of a small team, as a Workshop Controller, your main duties will include:

Being the face of the service department, meeting and greeting customers.

Prioritizing jobs to meet tight deadlines.

Delegating jobs to relevant Service Technicians and Apprentices.

Managing the workload of 8 Technicians and Apprentices in the most efficient manner.

Processing job data using Dealer Management System.

Applicant Specification:-

In order to be eligible you will need to live in the Pontyclun area or be within a reasonable commuting distance of Pontyclun.

Experience within the motor trade in a busy workshop environment is absolutely essential. This role is suitable for experienced Workshop Controllers or Technicians who have had experience in a Workshop Controller position.

You will need hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player.

You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy dealer environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team.

Applicants with an active MOT Smart Card would be highly advantageous but it is non-essential.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00 with an hour lunch and every other Saturday morning 08:00 - 13:00 (Saturdays paid at overtime rate mentioned above).
