As our Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for the production of Business Analysis artefacts, utilising a range of techniques and methods to elicit requirements, verify, and trace delivery through the lifecycle of a project. The Senior BA will work on highly complex projects with Senior Company Executives, often supporting dependency requirements across a range of delivery teams.

Responsibilities of our Senior Business Analyst:

- Responsible for the delivery of analysis artefacts (using either Waterfall or Agile methodology) through any channel

- Adheres to agreed Change Management protocols & processes

- Peer reviews the outputs of other Business analysts, offering constructive feedback where applicable and ensuring that in-house analysis standards are adhered to

- Heavily involved in Concept Request / Response work, defining scope, assessing impacts & considering potential approach options for analysis

- Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyses information, functional requirements and business impact

- Documents the business user requirements and process flows (as-is and to-be) in the agreed format. Identifies organisational impact of proposed change initiatives

- Works with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure designs meet function and non-functional requirements

- Raises Project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies to the Project Manager / Portfolio in a timely manner, offering mitigating actions and taking ownership of individual items where appropriate

- Estimates deliverables applicable to self and/or others robustly and realistically for planning purposes

- Responsible for ensuring the traceability of requirements to solutions at a Project / initiative level and for any delegated assignments (i.e. to a Trainee BA)

Skills required of our Senior Business Analyst:

Essential

- Experience working in Agile, Small Change & Strategic Project environments

- Expert in MS Visio

- Expert in Jira

- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis preferred

Experience

- Has a close link to wider industry practices & the Business Analyst profession

- Has coached others in the proficient use of 'as is' & 'to be' process models using BPMN 2.0 standards

- Experience working within a complex matrix management environment

- Has coached others in the proficient use of structured requirements outputs, including Use Cases, Business Rules, Business Requirements (Functional & Non-Functional), traceability matrices, User Stories & Epic Definition
