Management Accountant - Manchester - Study Support

Job: Management Accountant

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35000 (flexible 37.5 hours week) + study support

Location: Manchester City Centre - walking distance from train stations

Job Duties;

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for review
• Develop and maintain monthly financial reporting pack
• Develop and maintain General Ledger to trial balance for management accounts
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and audit file for presentation to auditors. First point of contact for auditors during field work
• Prepare short and medium term cash flows
• Calculation and submission of quarterly VAT Returns
• Day to day Supervision of 2 staff responsible for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger\Credit Control

Who will i report in to?

Finance Director who is looking to support and develop the successful candidate

When will interviews be taking place?

Interview will be happening as soon as possible

Ideal experience?

• Worked in a SME business and some supervision of staff before.
• Great communications skills to rely key information to other staff
• Strong work ethic
• Good Excel Skills
• Ideally studying CIMA or ACCA
