Development Services Administrator
Full-time, permanent
Salary up to £26,242 depending on skills and experience
If you love putting data to work, then you will be interested in this role at Cambridge’s biggest and newest College.
Our office is tasked with raising funds to support our students and key projects, and keeping a good relationship with former students of the College. We depend on high-quality information about our alumni, their interactions with the College, and their donations - carefully and appropriately collected, analysed and clearly presented. We are seeking a colleague to join our small and friendly team. You will also be responsible for office administration and donation administration.
You will be a part of an innovative and dynamic institution. Homerton is situated in large and beautiful grounds in the south of Cambridge, near the railway station and Addenbrooke’s hospital.
In this role you will:
- Become the College’s in-house expert on the alumni database we share with the University of Cambridge
- Present reports from the database
- Administer donations to the College, from sending prompt acknowledgements to the donor, to claiming Gift Aid
- Administer the financial operations of the office, including purchase orders and invoicing
You will be able to show:
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Experience of using the internet for research purposes and compiling consolidated information
- Experience of working with others, including other teams, to complete tasks
- A high level of comfort with both financial and personal data, and the ability to spot patterns and trends in information
- A methodical approach and a high level of attention to detail
Closing Date for applications is midday on 18th July 2019.
Interviews week commencing 22nd July 2019.
