30 hours per week – 8.30 a.m. until 3.00 p.m.

(Term time only)

Salary range: £12,332 - £14,449

Start date: 4^th September 2019

West Park is an 11 – 16 school based in Spondon with 1370 pupils currently on roll. The school prides itself on exceptional pupil achievement, dynamic teaching and learning and excellent behaviour and engagement.  We have a committed and talented staff team who work cohesively to get the best for all of our pupils.  The pupils themselves are focussed, polite, positive and determined to take full advantage of the range of opportunities provided to them.

A  Cover Supervisor is required to supervise the learning of pupils in the short term absence of a teacher and effectively manage the behaviour of whole classes by following the school’s referral procedures.  When not covering a teacher absence they are required to support in other lessons.  Experience of working with children and young people is essential. Relevant experience within a secondary school is desirable.
