An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor (based at our client's newly built logistics centre in the Midlands) to provide a seamless and efficient HR service within our commercial function, which incorporates various departments including Warehouse, Customer Service call centre, Design, New product development and Field based Sales. As part of the wider HR team within the UK, you will provide comprehensive, pragmatic support for the Management Team and employees, advising on a range of employee relations issues and taking an active role in supporting, coaching and facilitating in all areas within an HR generalist function.  With excellent attention to detail, you will also assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate details are submitted to the managed payroll supplier. Staying abreast of HR best practice is an essential part of the role, as you will contribute to the roll out of continuous improvement projects for the Commercial Function. 

Ideally CIPD qualified, your specific experience should include wide-ranging aspects of employee relations, coordination of payroll processes, employment law and recruitment and selection. The busy nature of this role requires exceptional organisation skills coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising on quality. Good IT skills and competence in computerised personnel database systems are essential. You must also have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice, with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be confident when dealing with people at all levels through your ability to influence and effectively communicate, together with your proficiency to build effective working relationships, each of which will support you being successful in this exciting role.

Due to the nature of the role involving some travel, it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence
